INTRUSIVE

WE ALL HAVE INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS.

What if nothing stopped you from acting on them?

A Psychological Horror Feature Film
The Film
EVERYONE HAS THOUGHTS THEY WOULD NEVER ACT ON.

When a struggling Los Angeles couple takes a new designer drug that strips away their inhibitions, a night meant to reconnect becomes a fight to survive each other—and a city surrendering to its darkest impulses.

Ollie has lived with intrusive thoughts since childhood. Now in his thirties, he has learned to bury them beneath routine, work, and an almost compulsive need to remain in control.

His girlfriend Raven wishes he’d let go.

One night, she brings home Gush, a new designer drug promising to eliminate inhibition and allow its users to experience their deepest desires.

At first, it’s exactly what their relationship needed. They talk. They laugh. They reconnect. They finally say things they’ve been afraid to say.

Then they begin losing time.

Outside their apartment, Los Angeles is descending into chaos.

Inside, Ollie and Raven begin to realize that Gush hasn’t changed who they are.

It has simply removed the part of them that says no.

The Vision

THE MONSTER IS ALREADY INSIDE.

INTRUSIVE takes a universal human experience—the disturbing, unwanted thoughts that can enter our minds—and asks one terrifying question:

What separates a thought from an action?

The horror isn’t that intrusive thoughts exist. They’re involuntary, and having one does not mean a person wants to act on it.

The horror begins when the mechanism that keeps thought separate from action disappears.

At the center of the film is Ollie and Raven’s volatile, funny, sexual, and deeply imperfect relationship.

They love each other.

They also carry resentment, jealousy, insecurity, secrets, desires, and frustrations they’ve never completely expressed.

When Gush removes their inhibitions, it doesn’t create those feelings. It removes the barriers that kept them contained.

Honesty becomes dangerous.

Desire becomes obsession.

Fear begins to disappear.

And fleeting thoughts can become horrifying actions.

Yet beneath the violence and escalating chaos, INTRUSIVE remains a twisted love story about two people discovering exactly who they are when there is nothing left to hide.

Look & Tone

ONE APARTMENT. ONE NIGHT. NO INHIBITIONS.

The world of INTRUSIVE begins intimate and familiar.

A couple.

Their apartment.

Dinner.

Music.

Sex.

An argument.

Then the city outside begins to change.

Sirens multiply. Emergency lights sweep across darkened rooms. Parties spill into the streets. A blackout transforms familiar spaces into shadows.

As Gush takes hold, the visual language of the film moves between intimacy, dark comedy, eroticism, paranoia, and sudden visceral violence.

Warm domestic spaces give way to darkness, candlelight, police lights, deep shadows, and flashes of red—the color of Gush itself.

The apartment becomes increasingly claustrophobic while the world beyond its windows and balcony appears to be coming apart.

The contrast is essential:

LET GO.
OR LOSE YOURSELF.

A neon psychological-thriller treatment built around Gush itself: seductive, synthetic, and just a little too inviting. The city glows underneath it like the drug has already gotten into Los Angeles.

Production Strategy
Contained Locations · Focused Cast · Experienced Department Heads · Controlled Production Schedule · Designed for On-Time, On-Budget Delivery

The contained nature of INTRUSIVE is a creative advantage as much as a financial one.

As Ollie and Raven lose control, their apartment becomes increasingly claustrophobic while glimpses of the city outside make the world of the film feel progressively larger.

The production model allows the film to remain intimate where it matters while delivering the tension and atmosphere expected from a commercial psychological horror feature.
